The majority of scholars are of the view that wudu is an essential condition of tawaf. However, wudu is not essential for sa`i.

It is essential to make the intention to fast the month of Ramadan at night before Fajr. It is not sufficient to start fasting during the day without the intention.

These are the valid reasons for breaking the fast during Ramadan: 1- sickness, 2- traveling, 3 - pregnancy and breastfeeding, 4- senility and old age, 5- intense hunger and thirst, and 6- compulsion.
