It is not permissible for a Muslim to work for a company that deals in interest and other prohibited transactions. The prohibition includes all the employees who work in the company, even the doorkeepers and security guards.

Car insurance is not permissible in Islam because it insures one against accidents involving others, and this comes under the heading of commercial insurance which is forbidden in Shari`ah, because it is based on uncertainty and consuming people’s wealth unlawfully.
