There is no dispute among the scholars that Muslim children will enter Jannah. Scholars differed concerning the fate of the children of the non-Muslims that they will be; 1- In Jannah. 2- With their parents in Hell. 3- The servants of the people of Paradise. 4- Tested in the Hereafter, and whoever obeys Allah will enter Paradise, and whoever disobeys Him will enter Hell.

1- The Hadith about the seventy thousand is to clarify that there is a group who will enter Paradise without reckoning, not that this is the number of Muslims in Paradise. 2- These seventy thousand are in a high rank from this nation due to special characteristics that distinguish them. 3- Muslims will form two-thirds of the total number of people in Paradise, which is more than all previous nations combined.

When a believer enters Paradise, if his wife was righteous then she will be his wife in Paradise too. Allah says: “And (Eden) Paradise, which they shall enter and (also) those who acted righteously from among their fathers, and their wives, and their offspring. And angels shall enter unto them from every gate…”

The Quran and authentic Hadiths indicate that the people of Paradise will recall past hardships, companions, supplications, and blessings from this world. These memories will serve to magnify their gratitude and joy in Paradise, as well as highlight Allah’s mercy and the fulfillment of His promises.
