We do not know of any Du`a that has been prescribed specifically for the `Eid prayer or for the day of `Eid; rather it is prescribed for the Muslims to recite Takbir (Allahu akbar), Tasbih (Subhan Allah), Tahlil (La ilaha illallah) and Tahmid (Al-hamdu Lillah) on the night before `Eid and on the morning of `Eid, until the Khutbah on the day of `Eid Al-Fitr, and until the end of the days of Tashriq on the occasion of `Eid Al-Ad-ha , as is also prescribed during the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah , because Allah says concerning `Eid Al-Fitr (interpretation of the meaning):
{(He wants that you) must complete the same number (of days), and that you must magnify Allah [i.e. to say Takbir (Allahu Akbar: Allah is the Most Great)] for having guided you.} [Al-Baqarah 2:185]
And there are Hadiths and reports concerning that also.
And Allah is the Source of strength.
