Returning stolen money when amount unknown

I used to steal money on and off from my father's pocket. Now I do not know how much I stole, nor can I admit to him now. What shall I do?

Try and estimate to the best of your memory the total amount you have stolen, and return it. And there is no harm if you return it as secretly as you took it.
